SPAN (Special Programs for Assessing Needs) is a group of programs under the auspices of the Office of Mental Health. SPAN provides an array of Behavioral Health services to individuals with a primary psychiatric diagnosis. Specialized services are available for individuals with a secondary diagnosis of intellectual disability.

PROS (Personalized Recovery Oriented Services) with behavioral health clinic services – is a rehabilitation program with available onsite clinic services. The program works with you to develop a personalized group of services and supports which assist you in achieving your life role goals so you can live the life you desire.

TBM (Transformed Business Model Program) – through reverse integrated and integrated employment opportunities the TBM assists individuals in moving into a vocational opportunity supportive of their abilities while assisting them in their recovery and reintegration into a work environment.

Peer Advocacy – is a peer run support service that facilitates individuals to participate in community services, and inform them about their rights under the law.


Eligibility Criteria: 
To be eligible for Lifespire’s Mental Health services, an individual must have a primary psychiatric diagnosis and an IQ over 50. We primarily serve Queens and Southern Brooklyn residents.
