Lifespire offers individuals with developmental disabilities services to enhance their independence by acquiring skills in community settings and group settings. Supports and skills training is offered in the areas of safety, hygiene, money management, nutrition and accessing community resources. This service also promotes independence and inclusion by integrating the consumers into the community through participating in voluntary opportunities. Consumers are able to volunteer at a host of integrated settings which include, but are not limited to, community gardens, meals on wheels and various churches. Lifespire has a commitment to partnering with local neighborhoods to not only utilize resources but to contribute something of value back to the community.
