Family Support

Lifespire Family Support Services: Assists the families of developmentally disabled persons in finding help in maintaining their disabled family member within the family unit, especially during times of crisis. Among the Programs and Services offered throughout the five boroughs are:

  • Travel Training - only in Queens

  • In-Home Training

  • Crisis Intervention - Queens and Brooklyn

  • Family Reimbursement - Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx

  • In-Home Behavior Management

To be eligible for Family Support Services and individual must have a developmental disability, with an IQ under 69 and be living with family or relatives.
